just too late Gargs - i slapped a bit of streaky bacon on top and stuck 'em in the oven 10 minutes ago ....mr p on his way for partrigious feast - so will have to sign off in a mo.
we are having roast poes, mange tout and portobello mushrooms....and probably gravy - if I can be bothered. Yes I have to really don't I...

Or better still just throw them at Cook and tell her you want them hung till their heads fall off then served with a good claret. (Everything tastes reasonable after a couple of bottles of decent claret)

I don't like red wine - but ribena might do. Cook went off in a huff when I told her we'd be 30 for christmas.
