Nice handwriting and spelled correctly. See Sandy, education standards aren't so bad after all.

Nice handwriting and spelled correctly. See Sandy, education standards aren't so bad after all. Not bad, but shouldn't there be a couple of hyphens; after 'bad' and 'mother'? Tut, kids today!

You might well think that, Mathilde, but according to Fowler "the insistence on hyphens in such phrases as 'bad ass' and 'm****r f****r' is an example of typical English pedantry" Fowler's Modern English Usage, Second Edition ~ H.W. Fowler

I'm disappointed that the Americans have taken over as the true kings of slang when the english had cornered the market. One does not take kindly to be called a junkslut and being threatened with having someone ' bounce their balls on ones head'..its frightfully bad form if you ask me!

Having been world leaders in style for a few years the brits gave up after Woodstock. Tank tops, bondage trousers, hip hop trousers (well i'm too old to know what they're called but the ones with the crotch nearer to your feet than your arse), hoodies, platform shoes, the list is endlessly embarrasing.

Hyphens seem to be going out of style but they are useful for avoiding misunderstandings, e.g. fine-tooth comb and fine tooth-comb.

Fine-tooth ed comb surely, Mimi? Oh dear, I believe you are right. It would certainly avoid the hyphen too. (Collapse of stout party.)
