Hard to believe - i couldn't find a pic of a decently made cucumber sandwich on the interweb. so you'll have to make do with this and my own aristocratic Mum's way of doing the cucumber sandwich thing: One uncut wholemeal loaf One cucumber thinly sliced One mess of soft butter 1) cut the end off the loaf 2) spread it sparingly with soft butter 3) cut off, waver thin 4) repeat 5) put cucumber between waver thin slices 6) remove crusts 7) stick it in yer gob 8) with a nice cup of Earl Grey (no milk/sugar - a slice of lemon if you must). What the hell is happening to this country, Mel? Utterly disgusting! ..I'd still eat it if I were hungry but..bah it makes you wish Hitler had won! Daz, I think you could ask him to remove his placard before you tucked in...

I had to beat him up to get the cucumber off him.
Well I hope Joggers reads this thread because he ought to learn how to make the perfect cucumber sarnie. Just stick yer cucumber between two slices of bread and then stuff it down yer gob.

Im not sure of this but there is
merchant - superman - submarine
Also reeve broke his back (i think?) so thats why the superman logo?
I think its this film called U-571
I copy and paste bits of the plot:
A Nazi U-boat commander, peering through a periscope, locks a merchant ship in his sights. After giving the order to fire, he studies the ship's flaming wreckage and proclaims that the crew has succeeded in breaking her back. Although U-571 is highly fictionalized, it does have some historical antecedents, described in a dedication given before the movie's end credits: two incidents in which the British captured Enigma machines aboard crippled Nazi U-boats, and a later covert American mission sent specifically to recover a U-boat carrying this machine. To keep the Germans from learning that the Allies had the code, the crews of these submarines were secretly imprisoned for the rest of the war, a violation of the Geneva convention. Whether these acts were necessary is, in retrospect, immensely complicated, and they may have made for far more interesting stories than the highly fictionalized version of them in U-571. But it's all too easy to fictionalize what the movie intimates in its first few moments, then doesn't address again: war isn't so much about racing as it is about breaking backs, and backs being broken.
