I can never think of Warhol without being reminded of The Great Gatsby or even Life of Brian. Did he really think he was a great artist? Was he the greatest con-man of the time telling everybody I am producing mass-produced tat because that's all you understand and watching the money roll in? Was he both a great con-merchant and a genius because mass production really was a valid artistic comment on the times?
