ummmm..... your ladyship, methinks they are both to blame in equal measure. I don't. I'm like Beatlejuice. You have to say my name to conjure me up. Here I am, minding my own business, ignoring the sad old gits, and suddenly, out the blue, pow, zap, another irrelevant dig comes out the blue sky from nowhere. It's very, very boring. I wish he'd get over me. Truly hell has no fury like a man scorned!

Well. i think it's pretty clear. Geraldine SO has the hots for Eric. 'Specially now that Gus is out of the picture, romancin' his bitch on some cruise Line-r in the arc-tic or somesuch. i think it's entirely possible to engineer a truce between Eric and Geraldine. Optimism is my middle name. honestly

Well, ladies and gentlemen, lords and ladies, I have been beavering away all night long, reviewing the copious relevant evidence. In 96.7% of the cases with any pertinence, and all those with any impertinence, Geraldine is without question or peradventure the provoked party. Yes, indeed, the court may well draw in its collective breath. The provoked party - furthermore, this pitiful hounded doe-eyed creature you see before you has been the needlessly and gratuitously provoked, um, party. She is, verily I say to thee, the provokee. The remaining few instances of outrageous provocation where she has not responded she has, I think the documentary evidence will reveal, been on holiday. Or in the air. Or messing about with parochial political controversies of little concern or interest to anyone here, or indeed anywhere else. Now, your honours and assembled worships, what has been the response of this much aggrieved provokee? Has she, as any reasonable and civilised person might be naturally expected to do, gone on a rampage, a claymore-wielding berserker, throwing McEwan cans and empty whisky bottles at all and sundry? No, she has not. Why, she's been as graceful and decorous as a dainty butterfly on a summer's evening breeze! Ever polite, ever graciously reasonable. I mean, whan I say this of course, by Glaswegian standards, which, I remind the court, are the only standards by which one can or indeed should judge such a noble lady.
I submit, therefore, in all humility and craven posturing, that the aforementioned Geraldine, of no known address, is in fact innocent. Yes, I say it again, innocent! And I say to you, my worthies, I SAY TO YOU, that the guilty parties are in fact and deed none other than those who stand sniggering in the gallery, her massed accusers, those assorted and woebegone detritus who, unable to find anyone irrational or drunk enough to give them a hearing in England, have had to search high and low across the border to find an audience credulous and inebriated enough to listen to their slander. I say to thee - enough is enough! Let this cruelly mistreated woman go! This paragon of the fair sex, whom all but her craven and now we see cringing accusers can see with their own unprejudiced and wondering eyes is the very embodiment of all that is sweet and good and fragrant - Release her, I beseech thee, in the name of Justice and...ermmm...she's a damn'd fine looking wench too.

Well, perhaps it was before she rammed a traffic cone up his arse. Understandably, he's rather sore about that.

It appears that almost all posts now are either "What's that film" or the "Word Association" thread. Is Madrigal getting bogged down with this? Perhaps it's just me........ Eric These are simply more FUN than the other threads IMHO IN VIEW OF THE ABOVE BORING RUBBISH: I REST MY CASE ;D

Eric You might be a bit too past it to notice, but I have been ignoring your posts, very enjoyably too as most of them are either whines about how you don't like this board or metaphorical attempts to look up the skirts of female posters. But when you use my name for no reason whatsoever other than to show your bitterness and spite, you need to be told to piss off.

Yes well you have made it pretty clear whose "side" you're on, LMH but I never expected to hear language like that from a lady. You're not from Glasgow too are you? Eric
