many moons ago talking about this subject of talking about or slagging off other members on another board or even the board itself, it was pointed out to me by Al Johnston ( I think) that cross board talk unless polite is not ethical. I said then and i say now that i can not for the life of me see why when someone is slagging you off on a board from which you a) have been banned or b) no longer wish to post on that board, that you have no means of redress.
I mean MB's are not the Ku Klux Klan or the CIA what is so sacrosant about them that they can not be discussed favourably or vice-versa. i appreciate that some members may not want to but let them that do, do it.

I've been to busy watching PM Question Time..I hope you watched it, Sandy..Gordon Brown was utterly hopeless. In fact he so short of facts he had to be rescued by one of his ministers.
He's another conman.

They trailed Gordo on the news.
He performed badly ... but it's just a bit of shouting in the Commons, it's not actually important, is it?
Cameroon often does well (i'm not a supporter) but then he's a confident, banterer-over-tiffin-with-the-rector, ex media exec.
type of guy.
I like it when the women speak - I never listen to a word... not that they're not good, but as the general shouting gets louder, they get into squealing at dog-only frequencies. Except Betty Boothroyd, who was a husky old trout

Yeh I think the real problem is that you only see the sound bites on the news. When Hague was in Opposition I knew he was amusing but I had no idea what a good parliamentarian he was.
You've got to see the whole performance not just a snippet. Its like anything...you can't judge a film by the preview.

I can see PMQQ being a bloodbath in future. Blair was a glib performer and hard to pin down but Brown is what I've always thought he was...essentially weak and easily rattled. Someone who's best as a backstage scribbler..a bit of a Uriah Heep figure. Appears calm and collected but is actually easily angered and seething inside. The so-called psychological flaws rumour didnt come out of thin air. He can't adapt like Blair. Err Blair was an airy type of course. Other than that I quite like the man  |

Brown is obviously not fleet-of-foot.
But that might mean he doesn't accidentally stick it in his mouth on the fast dances.
PMQQ could be a bloodbath, but I think Brown has no qualms about turning into a dull exercise and wet-blanketing the drama merchants.
He's no adlibb-er, that's for sure.
