perhpas blandly pretty is what does it for some but i see those particular two more or less in the bland camp - obvious good looks (chocolate box), imo. Really? I think they're quite weird. going purely on looks, i'd have thought fairly typical knob appeal.

didn't realise it was some sort of competiton. Please, Philippa! Be kind. I have finally found something I am good at. of course no slight on you, lmh, it was more to do with aubreys perceptions. and similarly ol' mick who sired jade and elizabeth, and plenty more i should think - wasn't there a child with marsha hunt?

Frank was a self proclaimed ugly motherfvcker. And for all that the auditions he held were reputed to be very difficult, I reckon that he chose his musicians on the basis that there could only be one man in any group he had who was better looking than he was:
