I tend to overdo things..or I did until I learnt - by fate/neccesity/whatevs..that there was a certain thrill in anticipating things. This was after I'd run out of money in Europe and had some problem with a money transfer. Apparently a Building Society suggests a Society for putting up Buildings in Europe...so therefore I had a very limited amount of finances for well over a week. Anyway blagging drinks was fairly easy..and what little money I had/or blagged went on the necissities....drinking. So therefore the anticipation of the drink was an added thrill almost as good as the drink itself..and so I learnt moderation in all thynges. .......the hard way sadly!

Yeh he built a pendulous construction too...then there was Gus and his famed Bratwurst Pendula, which we renamed the Frankfurt Pendulum on closer inspection.
