How glad I am to be able to put the dots over the Ä,Ö and Ü. But that is not important what is though is that the Pope is coming here next weekend and we are all very excited. I can imagine how exited you all are too.
Eat your heart out Japan, China, and America the Austrian Railways Österreichischen Bundesbahn (ÖBB) have smashed the world train speed record on the Ingolstadt - Nürnberg route with a speed of 357kmph. The train is called the Eurosprinter and it is built by Siemans. Four cheers for Europe.

Fast trains are fine if you're in a hurry but I also like the very slow walking-pace trains that let you notice the sheep's tails gradually getting fatter, the tea getting greener and the eyes getting gradually more slanty.

I hope you don't start your journey in England mimi with the fiasco they call railways there. Bring back British Rail, tepid tea and a stale sausage roll was worth it for the much better service then. gus

Oh our trains are always being stopped for no particular reason to take in the view - not much use if your stuck in Warrington on a wet afternoon.

I see the EU brigade were applauding and crowing when they forced their spaceship to crash into the moon. One wonders how they could miss?

I can't unsay them..theyre written on stone tablets now. Someone will put them into an Internet archive for the rest of eternity - and then make a profit out of my Collected Works 'The Madrigal Prophecies'. ..fame at last - but I'll be dead by then
