I do it, every wednesday.
Today i had something called arctic clam - beautifully white and glistening - and a bit chewy.
I only get what the supermarket has in their sushi boxes, but am i missing something?
What is the most delicious raw thing you have ever eaten?

Not carp..too many bones. Raw food..lemme think. I ate pork and apple stuffing from Selfridges and it was great. And then afterwards I read that you were sposed to cook it first I'm sure Pj can do better than that!

Don't you get twigs in your teeth? Only when eaten in the hedgerows, but a little fur is not unwelcome. gus

I once gave my Dad some expensive smoked ham and he did the opposite, he fried it and then complained it didn't taste as good as the bacon he usually had.

I do it, every wednesday. Today i had something called arctic clam - beautifully white and glistening - and a bit chewy. I only get what the supermarket has in their sushi boxes, but am i missing something? What is the most delicious raw thing you have ever eaten? With few exceptions, like chickpeas which have been sweetened or spiced (you find them in Turkish shops), or fresh rhubarb, or various vegetables like peppers and kohlrabi (though neither mushrooms or cauliflower, which acquaintances of mine eat uncooked as if they're going out of fashion), I'm not a big fan of eating raw, food which is normally cooked. So I'd find it hard to select a delicious raw item. As well as raw veg, that I can remember, I've eaten raw beef, pork, liver, eggs, herring, salmon and sea food. Some of the less common fruits de mer were a struggle, especially the sea snails and sea urchins. I like many plants undeveloped - I can't offhand think of what name one uses, but I mean things like bean sprouts. And uncooked, not even briefly in a wok. You can grow from seed many items, catching and eating them just after they've sprouted - linseed, both red and white radishes, alfalfa, cress (so not letting it grow 3" high like grass), mungo beans, some clovers, chickpeas, nearly all common cereals, mustard, sunflower, etc.

It has to be very well cooked otherwise you'll be left with a pigs ear. And no spitting
