Its all a myth. I just want to limit the growth of the World population by killing them all off. Actually I don't smoke at all. Especially after hearing about Alan Coren...I mean really...theres something slightly sad about 'smoking a few Silk Cut'. Theres no such get out clause...smoking 'the odd fag' or sticking to 'low tar' is merely a gesture. Having said that apparently some people live very long lives puffing away...but the theory is that a certain percentage of people have a gene that protects them from the ill effects of smoking. Which may or may not be true - all I do know is that it doesn't stop that irritating cough reflex in the morning. |
