This seems to have been a gift of Roger Hargreaves in predicting the nature of various presidents of the USA.
Book No, 42 "Mr Perfect" And the 42nd President Bill Clintstone, No 43 "Mr Cheerful" and the 43rd POTUS 'Dubya' Bush, No 44 "Mr Cool" and the 44th Pres, Obama, No 45 "Mr Rude" the recent loser, and No 46 "Mr Good" - Biden.

But do we think Mr Rude will quietly leave, or will he trash the joint before he is bundled out by members of the special forces?

I have to laugh at this super advanced nation with their constant prating about a free democracy (Dubya used to pronounce this 'freedom moxy' to my amusement) who are unable to decide who they've chosen as president!
I find it remarkable that the can't count their votes in a mater of hours like we do in the UK, or why they can't arrange for the new guy to stroll into the white house through the front door whilst the old guy slinks out via the back door the day after the election the way it's done here, with only a brief pause for HM the Q to rubber-stamp it.

Exactly, and although I would fear for the world, what a hoot it would be if after all the recounts hanging chads lawyers and all else it was found that Trumper was still POTUS. An awful lot of egg on an awful lot of faces.

I wondered whether to suggest having two POTESes. I think this was done in Rome with two consuls at one point, the hope being that they couldn't do much harm if they had their hands around each others throats trying to throttle each other all the time.

An awful lot of egg on an awful lot of faces. The hanging chads was only over a few hundred votes, in one state; this is hundreds of thousands of votes over several states. Trump has lost and the only way he can still be president is if he manages a coup.

Well, I wouldn't wish a civil war on the country, but I suppose it would divert them from attacking other countries for a while which would be a pleasant change.

I am sure it can't be quite a chaotic as we are led to believe, but I think the voting system in the US seems to be the biggest balls up since Napoleon left Moscow. I know it is a big country, but surely it cant take this long to count votes? We are told that votes posted by the close of polling count, well why not votes which are received, and it is Federal law which decrees things, not State law. And certainly not Trump law.

It's from Republican observers challenging every vote at the count, and then trying to bring law suits with no evidence.
