First Norton (allegedly) started sending me 'urgent' emails telling me that my subscription was due to expire, and I had six (6) viruses. The address wasn't Norton's so it was clearly a scam of some sort which I ignored.

Now it's started up with MacAfee again.

I'm not sure what the nature of this scam is, but it doesn't say a lot for these protection companies that they seem to be useable to rip people off does it.
