Really??..I thought I'd typed it.
Help! I'm talking to myself again!!
It was a 'must see' programme about a Man who was 'addicted' to spaghetti hoops, which I would have thought was less problematic than being addicted to heroin but not to CH4 programmers.
Anyway various trick cyclists and hypnotists managed to cure him by weaning him off hoops and onto Alphabeti Spaghetti. I'm sure Gordon Ramsey would have been much more helpful.

I sympathise with this poor man. It must have been a Red Letter day when he finally was able to break the cycle...of...erm...hoops.
Addictions are the enemy in today's society. I was addicted to Snuff at one time ...it got so bad that I ended up snorting it.
Like most sufferers I was able to defeat it with professional help.
But, like others, one can replace one addiction with another.
At present I'm having a problem with water ... I'm bathing in it, using it in my tea ....even brushing my teeth with it. Unfortunately, there's so many "pushers" out there willing to make money out of victims (Severn Trent, Scottish, Thames) that it's an downhill battle.

Sometimes the simple solutions are the vest. If you're one of those sad unfortunates addicted to sex my advice would be to find someone similarly afflicted.
Of course some people just don't want to be cured. Vegetarians addicted to Bacon sandwiches for example.

Robin (the Boy Wanda) is a vegetarian ...and we have quite a problem getting him served something appropriate in Restaurants.
I've suggested that's because he comes to table in a mask, short yellow cloak and tights. He said it's because vegetarians are still discriminated against. You can't win with young crime fighters.

The Berkeley watchdog organisation is lacking behind a tad in ther reporting. These plans were uncovered by the Sunshine Project about 2 years ago. And the idea of ‘make love not war‘ isn‘t quite so new either. ;D |
