Watched The Proms starring Nigel Kennedy.
Though he looks terrible, there is no doubt that he is a talented violinist. He gave a very good account of Elgar's Violin Concerto in the first half.
Then in the second half he and a band of youfs played "Jazz". It was truly awful apart from a few quiet passages. To make it worse, 'im indoors was having a spell of deafness so the sound was up LOUD. I escaped to the garden!
