Chris, The only way i can be wound up as you call it is when a concerted campaign of hate is directed at me or anyone else for that matter. I see nothing wrong in "winding up" anyway. Some people do it slyly, some openly. but it ads a touch of spice to the midday meal. Otherwise you get the stodge of people cleaning broom cupboards out or the latest recipe for filleted carp. Btw are you the poster talking about dogs recently and saying that only large dogs are dangerous. this is not true i remember a case a few years ago of a pack of Jack Russell terriers bringing a boy of 13 years down and biting him to death. At 13 he would not be very small I should think. ALL dogs are dangerous in a pack and do not forget their instinct are to be in a pack. gus When was the last time you encountered a pack of yorkshire terriers? He's got a point there, Gus.... ;D |

Presuming that a 'pack' would be rare, and putting numbers to a 'pack'. I would suggest that a 'pack' would indicate no more than 12, all working together, their height and their limited strength taken into account. Nah!! |

How on earth did the 13 year old happen across a 'pack' of Jack Russells? One can only presume should this story be correct, that he was on a breeding farm, but it would have taken much noise, from dogs barking and growling, boy screaming, and unlikely an incident of this nature could occurr without the intervention of an adult. Now a fully grown man could quite easily and rapidly disperse a pack of Jack Russells, one would have thought. Very unusual for a pack of small domesticated dogs to act as one aggressive army. |
