Wow, Tops. That's quite an achievement!
Been thinking about doing the Channel Swim for a couple of years now. Got the application form here, but realistically didn't have the time to train in the last two years. Maybe in 2008, or 2009 more likely. Once I've got something in my head I've got to do it! It's a curse! Enrolment deadline is April...we'll see....

How are you at running and cycling??
Bro' goes through agony every time, but still loves it. He's also run most of the Marathons. No wins but good times (in every way). ;D

///How are you at running and cycling??/// Pretty good, Tops.  I run for an hour 5 days a week, and cycle a lot as well. But much prefer swimming to running....running is just more 'convenient'. The thing I'm most worried about is sharks hypothermia. That's why most peeps fail. You really have to toughen yourself up. I ain't got any body fat either - that doesn't exactly help... |
