I got 11/14. So when I apply for a british passport It shouldn't be a problem. And as the wife want's to go abroad next year and it's such a fag getting a Manx passport if you no longer live on the Island I supose I'll have to be a Brit. Still be Manx in my heart though.

I got 9, though I don’t feel happy with some of the supposedly correct answers. I mean for a start, any foreigner will tell you what PG means to them, so whoever compiled this quiz ought to get wise to what sells abroad. And as for “if you spill someone's pint in the pub what usually happens next?”, the compiler has obviously never lived in Sunderland.
I’m also surprised and disappointed to see dog licences no longer exist, when with 7 million dogs in the UK, there is clearly a veritable income going missing, some of which could be used to pay council ‘dog wardens’ or cleaning up of the apparently up to 1000 tons of dogpoo created a day (even if not all of it on public areas).

What do they mean by the MYTH of Father Christmas?
I got 10 right but what a stupid test. How can you answer questions on the views of a book you have not read?
Daft I calls it.
I agree with you PJ on dog licences. Maybe they should just increase the tax on dog food (and while we are at it cat food as well). It would be easier to collect and fairer.
The bigger the dog, the more they eat, the more the mess.
Logic.

I got 11/14 too Gargoyle...and am wondering if, with a measly 8, Daz needs to pull himself together a bit!

Heck, if they'd asked about boxing day and fish and chips, half and half, and Newcastle Brown I'd have gotten more right.

Newcastle Brown huh? ..that used to be the trendy pint for awhile amongst middle class students until they copped on that it tasted vile and started buying posh Belgian beers instead Oh well I suppose compared to American beer it must taste okay ...that reminds me, tis nearly time to venture down the stone steps to the wine cellar and then come back up when I realise I dont actually have a wine cellar.
