I read that the monsters who inflicted such appalling injuries to Baby P are likely to be given new IDs on their eventual release at some considerable cost to the taxpayer.
To Hell with them say I. Let them face the consequences of their vile actions though no doubt all the bleeding hearts will rally round and claim that they have served their time and do no deserve further punishment at the hands of the public.
Actually, now that they have been named, other prisoners will attend to them given half a chance. Alternatively, their existence inside will be so confined and protected that their miserable lives will no longer be worth living and they will do what Fred West, Dr Shipman, et al did.
