Well done! I see that the chairman of the senior police officers (can't remember his name) has condemned the decision to release Megrahi. He claims to have been in charge of the Lockerbie investigation. Now, forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe that it is the job of the police to apprehend someone they believe to be guilty and place them before a Court via the Crown Prosecution Service and that their job stops there. It is not the job of the police (or prison staff) to comment on the decisions reached by a court or, in this case, by the Scottish Justice Minister who was acting within the Law. Senior police officers, I have noticed, have this tendency to comment, via the chairman of their Association, on verdicts and sentences passed down. IMHO this should be jumped on by the judges concerned. Eric
