Hirst's paintings - wot he did himself!

for the first time Damien Hirst is exhibiting work that he actually did all by himself, rather than use teams of assistants, experienced craftsmen and engineers.

hardly a surprise, but his work is spectacularly bad.

Pretty much all his work is bad although I quite like the White Roses and Butterflies. I think he's capable of doing decent painting but I don't think he can be bothered. Let's face it, he's been successfully fleecing the rich and stupid for years with dead animals in tanks, why should he apply himself to something which needs a bit more talent?
