As we are hearing the simple delights of Priestley, I think it only fitting for us to tell ours as we experience them.
For example one of my delights is the smell of hyacinth on an early spring morning.

When I come home I am welcomed by a joyful, dancing Greyhound. I find that delightful.

How strange that only 3 of us apparently experience delight. Is everyone else too cynical? Or too cautious to commit such feelings to the common view.

Since the full line is "Tis my delight on a shining night in the season of the year", here are two season-specific delights of mine from last weekend ... ... devouring in one session a juicy ripe pomegranate about the size of a canteloupe melon, vivid red juice trickling down and colouring my chin and fingers. ... eating freshly-roasted chestnuts wrapped in a home-made cone of newspaper, while lying in a tub full of hot water and chocolate-flavoured bubble-bath froth.

Eric I get great pleasure from entering the blanks from the film game competition on my film game analysing gizmo and it coming up with the right answer.
