I have just had an idea for a new thread. I have run it up the flagpole and am waiting to see if anybody will salute it.
If you are not sure pop it into your lunch box and snack on it later.
I'm pretty sure though that there will soon be several people joining in and singing from the same hymn sheet.

Your blue sky thinking is refreshing. Let's drill down and get a collective brain dump going.

Is Wayne up for a bit of brain storming? I'm not good at jargon and form filling. And all this junk about positive equity (we made money! ) and negative equity (we lost it again ).

You and Yours - Sports Medicine 'feature'! Everything that spewed out the interviewees' mouth was jargon. Fortunately i was driving at the time so could not even contemplate ringing R4 to tell them to get the idiot off the air before I thought it worth while heading up to Manchester to shut him up myself.....I'd like to give him my own 'avenue' of treatment....right up his avenue

Why has everyone 'Got an Elephant in the front room' all of a sudden. I mean I quite like that..its understandable but it reminds me of that thing when a politician thinks he's smart by gloating at some mess and saying 'I really don't want to intrude on private grief but...'

Not really. There was something on the radio about it and I thought 'I know of a few very busy people who might be interested in it'.
I do wonder though how much all this jargonese actually costs the taxpayer. Maybe someone could go on a fishing expedition to find out?
I could give a ball-park figure but I would just be flying a kite at it.
I made the kite one up. It's easy really.
Maybe we could create our very own jargon and use it on other boards for a bit of fun.
So what jargon could our inventive minds come up with?
Was jargonese invented by computer people, in the same way as cockney rhyming slang (the name is derived form Secret LANGuage) was used by London market traders, i.e. to confuse the customers?

Er, sorry, I meant to say something in that last post; something like: Look at this then. Or something. Just got a bit carried away with posting me first link here.

Good link Matty.
Seagull manager. I like that one.
Anyone body else want to piggy-back onto the thread.
Let's get all our ducks in a row before we barnstorm the problem otherwise we'll be firefighting until an inconveniently unflexible period of upcoming time. No duck shufflers allowed.
