Did anyone watch the television programme on BBC1 last night - "Poor Kids"?
It was heartbreaking. Young children living in the most appalling deprivation in Leicester, Bradford and Glasgow yet all were articulate, well-spoken and accepting of their situation.
If you haven't seen it, I strongly recommend you do so on i-player. I so wish I was able to send money to one family in particular - a father without any employment (not for want of trying) trying to raise three children. He did all the cooking, washing and his level best for them with very little money.
