I see Honda is taking on 700 new people at its factory. This makes about 15 million working in this country thanks to the glorious capitalist system. (surprisingly I could find no mention of this in the BBC news site).
I suppose Honda will be making extra profits and having them taxed, the shareholder dividends will be taxed and the workers wages will be taxed and the money will go to look after the old, the poor and the sick and the downright lazy.
What a brilliant idea to get these multiple benefits by making use of the natural greed and selfishness of individuals rather than trying to suppress them and in so doing suffering from a lack of growth and wealth as a consequence.
Come on now guys, Three cheers for Capitalism.
