Yes but what you do not take into account is the stupidity of the average voter. The Capitalists as I have mentioned have a thousand tricks up their collective sleeves to lull the voter into thinking he will be well of under that system. Sometimes one has to be cruel to be kind don't ya know. gus Th at's the biggest load of bollocks you have ever come up with and there has been plenty in the past. But if affluence, high wages, low cost of living, freedom of choice, freedom of speech and human rights are tricks then you are correct. Obviously you prefer people to starve to death or freeze to death or be locked away in Gulags - as many Communists have done in the past . Rolex sandy, you are as per usual confusing a police state with Socialism/ Communism. But considering that your brain has been pickled with Capitalist propaganda it is nothing new. gus

The only thing I am confused about is why you have these whacky ideas (Cuba is a police state AND Socialist/Communist. So was Russia, Yugoslavia and China and every other one).
Correction. I am also confused how you can ignore all the horrible things that go on in Cuba, just because some evil pillock of a leader pretends to be a real Communist, when anybody with any sense knows that there never has been nor ever will be any such animal. I am far more likely to believe in unicorns than caring Communist leaders.

The only thing that confuses me is why anyone should bother. Someone should inform Gus that Communism died several decades ago. He should know that the Communist Party which was a force in Salford from the 30's (quite rightly too!) to the 80's (less rightly) and I should know because I spent two days down a bloody cellar printing their leaflets, posters and Election Addresses...(yes Gus 'election' these weren't Chinese commies). Try buying the Morning Star at the newsagents instead of the FT - you capitalist pig in sheeps clothing!
