For sake, click the link..its hilarious. Just the type of sophisticated holiday location that you'd adore, Mimi. All I know about Malta is that its a very small island and very flat, which explains its popularity with the older tourist..no big hills to walk up. To be fair, Shirley..I can't judge a place I've not visited so if ANYONE has been or knows anyone who has been to Malta then please feel free to say something nce about the place. It cant be all bad..you've got warm weather and the sea and if you're a very good swimmer you may just manage to make it to Italy.

Well you are very busy dear. Busy..I can barely stand up!!!! You try playing football after a large dinner and several glasses of wine. None of us are getting any younger, Mimi as you well know. May I say your still very sprightly and 'with it' in your dotage. In other words you haven't lost ALL your marbles quite yet. In fact you could teach us youngsters a few lessons in witticisms

I wish people would stop taking the urine out of new members.
You should wait a few weeks and get to know them better first.

Every forum I set up has the Maltese - okay a Malteser - queuing up to join it. I dont understand why I'm so famed in Malta (a very small isle in the Med) yet totally ignored by the rest of the globe. It vair odd isn't it, Sandy. Anyway I obviously misunderstood the answer to what this blokes holiday in Malta was like..'he just said something along the lines that 'it was pretty flat..not much happening'. They didn't seem to want to return in a hurry but hell..its got better weather, you can swim in the med and has some good points but all in all its not personally somewhere I would choose to live. Maybe I jumped in to quick becuase of the references to 'nipples'. I'm still abit jumpy when it comes to probord rules and Melon isn't here of course. Which reminds me GOOD LUCK, MEL!
..............HOPE TO SEE YOU VICTORIOUS TOMORROW!

Very interesting, Mel. I take a keen interest in historical artefacts. One day I might just go to Malta to pay homage to the famous Maltese Falcon. It must be bloody impressive if all those people were shooting each other to grab hold of it. Sir Daz Madrigal Prof of Archaeological Artefacts, Natural History Museum ..............now how else do you think Gen got a job there?

if ANYONE has been or knows anyone who has been to Malta then please feel free to say something nce about the place. It cant be all bad.. I would love to go to Malta one day - they have lots of prehistoric stuff that I am interested in - just a matter of pursuading Mr P.... For several years during the 90s, a divorced female colleague of mine always went enthusiastically to Malta for her summer hols. The first time, she hadn't booked a hotel, but found she easily met single, handsome, young men who offered her a room in the family house at very low cost, mama's cooking inclusive. So she took one up, and enjoyed it so much that each year thereafter she went back to the same one or moved on to another handsome man plus mama. There was always a sparkle in her eyes when she came back from her hols - probably the sun reflected off the Med. But then one day she came back angry. She never said what had happened but since then she's always gone to Portugal instead, where she also doesn't book a hotel (but meets single, handsome, young men who offer her a room in the family house at very low cost, mama's cooking inclusive). The 'backstreets' of Malta, where single, handsome, young men accost divorced females: About the same time, I also knew a couple of males who enjoyed Malta. Both said because it was like Bournemouth but with sun and cheaper prices. Hmm, not sure if that's quite much of an advertisement for males to holiday there.
