Small note on this mystery dauber... I met him once.
Media Dinner? Nope; backsatge soiree? Nope; Celebrity drinkies? Nope.
I met him in a framing shop in Balham, S. London. We were both waiting for stuff...and I said the imortal words "Do I know you from somewhere?" This guy was not my era - so he was kind enough to explain where I had gone wrong. The bloke behind the counter thought I was a dope as well. Oh dear !

Although I have to admit you make a dam/n sight better croupier than Daz. I retract all complaints I made before!
He can’t even make up is mind what profession his ’artist’ is in.
Are you sure now, Daz, he’s not a celebrity chef who happened to play the drums in a school band?

So it could be anybody, except Cliff Richards.
Is it Prince?

I mean surely you can tell a good painting from a load of old tat.

Let's see.
This work started with the face study, I reckon... and then the faux-primitive body/surrounds were put in afterward, for effect.
So, changes what he begins -- artifice
The eye area was piad attention to ... and despite attempts to be 'loose' the face study was tried for.
Vain
Dunno what's going on wiv the 'ed. Is it a hat? is he a semi-slaphead? Is he/was he saying he's a blonde?
This image places the pose and the pensiveness above any surrounding ...is his band an insignificant backing assembly ?
