SANTIPASTA: Admit it kipper, you just fancied the pants off the Italian goalkeeper.
At their wages ... I could be persuaded to swap sides.
So der Mutterland triumphs again. Raggy swines. If it had gone to pens ... they woulda won it anyway. 2.5 million gastarbeiten were urging the Turks on .. plus the whole of Turkey There was a spiritual tsunami pushing them to win ... but thos Germans do build superb sea defences !

SPAIN ? They are tops --- well done them. At last they get what they deserve. Admirable.
--------
Now onto real stuff for next season:
Enter your predictions . Here's mine:
1) Scolari is a fat bombastic tw*t with a silly moustache. Doesn't matter if the Mafia's chequebook is open for plundering, once again - there's no way Chelsea are gonna win anything major. Next !
2) Ronaldo will go --- as he always was gonna go --- only a nutcase who always bets against the obvious ever thought he was gonna stay. He'll be good, on occassion at Real ... but never £70 million good.
3) ManU will probably lose Carlos Queiroz and it will hurt. Who's he ? some sqaud winger we've fogotten ? Well u know who he is ... he's that rather engaging Coach. Surely nobody belives that Fat Fook Ferguson does anything physical on the training ground, do they ? He's too busy buying horses and shouting the bleedin' odds. Queiroz is the gem -- I suspect he's quietly excellent - that's why he'll go to Portugal. Ferguson's weaknesses will come floating to the very top, once he's gone.
4) Hull will be embarrassing, dirty and boring ... suitable members of the Bolton-Birmingham-Sheffield school of Footie
5) Spurs will surprise and delight even more than this season.
6) more clubs will hit the ropes ... although that doesn't necessarilly mean they'll go under ... as we know Footy Clubs are a unique business: totally broke, beyond bankruptsy with the fans ripped off from start to finish ... but the ground remains open Many clubs will be unaware that the rest of the country is in recession... that's OK, just put up the cost of the season ticket ! Reality is hiding around the corner for many of them.
7) Liverpool will bugger up
8) Against all normal human development ... Wayne Rooney will actually get shorter ... and fatter and slower. Shame , but it will happen.
? ? ? ?

Ronaldhino DOESN'T go to Man City ? ! ? !
Who would've thunk it ?
Semi-retired, moody, overpaid, slightly nuts , twice-voted world player of the year, doesn't want to go to Man City.
Apparently a squad of B grade teamates, 305 days a year of rain, and an Club Owner that's sitting in a Thai courtroom, waiting to get the book thrown at him... didn't entice him to sign on the dotted line (with an expensive pen) ? Shock Horror !

Liverpool paid how much for Robbie Keane ? ? !
He's a great bloke ... but is he THAT great ?
No matter ... as long as they keep buying ENTERTAINING, GOALSCORING Spurs players .. they might have a chance of winning something PROPERLY ( that means ... by scoring more goals than the other side)
So, when is Benitez actually leaving ? ? ?

He's a bigger kipper than you are kips.
What a waste of money. I bet within a few weeks he will be injured. How old is he is now?
28. His best is behind him I reckon.

There they are penny pinching over GAreth Barry ... and then they shell out for Keane as if they've just won the bleedin' lottery ! What's going on down at Le Banque de Cop these days? Where'd they get the CEO from - Bradford & Bingley ?
------------
Scolari is apparently "not bothered" by Ferguson's mumblings.
News from the fans : we're not bothered that 2 overweight, overpaid and over ego-ed Fat Fooks are putting up their "dooks" like some old drunks outside the offy. When will these dinosaurs get their P45s ?
Bring back Eric Cantona ... with the right flying kick, he could boot both their gonads right out the park.

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7535622.stmArsenal were handed an intriguing tie against former England boss Steve McClaren's FC Twente in the Champions League third qualifying round.....
"I think of all the teams we could have had, that is the toughest - or one of the toughest. "I expected one of the English teams - fate deals you certain cards and it has dealt us this card. On one hand it is very, very tough - we know that - but on the other very exciting," he told Sky SportsI see Baldy has lost none of his English skills since eating cheese and wearing clogs all day. I wonder if Steve will play his revolutionary 1-9-1 formation ?

England eventually beat ....er.... Andorra. Blimey.
Croatia, though are like...er.. a real team , and stuff. I hear La Managerini is thinking of playing Heskey ( on his own) and has the dubious plan of setting all his hopes on Defoe as his "star striker". ( note to the FA ... we know Italians like mushrooms, but have they checked some of the "magic" variety aren't getting slipped into his pasta and chips ?)
Still Kevin Keegan is free again .. so maybe he could play Kev as No 10 ?
-----------
Newcastle Here's the propblem in a nutshell ( I'll waive my normal exorbitant fee for this priceless advice) :
1) Owned by a thug 2) "Director" of Football : Dennis Wise (thick thug) 3) Star goal-poacher ( Joey Barton) - convicted thug 4) Most famous Footballer and Manager-in-waiting : Shearer - thug with a suit on. 5) present start striker : Owen ... injury prone, unfit, disillusioned and holds a season ticket for gamblers anonymous.
Relegation would focus their minds. ============

;D
Wel well well... 4-1, eh !
I'm not betting against Capellomeister (yet) at least he's showing what a different league he's in, compared to Le Grande Tosseur de Bald, McClaren.
Managed to see the match highlights ( what ! You don't think I'd pay some chavs from Sky or Sentanta to watch this guff, did you ?) yesterday. Having seen, live, Master Walcott . playing for the U21s, I knew he was good, even out of Wenger's school trousers... but he was really on form.
Surpringly, Rooney was totally excellent in a Deco-kinda way ... he should walk away from the striker's mantle... the boy's still a superb goal creator.
Everyone was on-song, near enough ... although Lampard should watch the playback... because Copello has obviously got him on the "also rans" list, imho.
It was also noteable what a dirty little sod Ashley Cole is , on the quiet ... not that we can do without that skill. He was faking and diving and kicking his way throughout the match ... I'm sure the boy's got Argetinian blood in him !
So - we're deffo gonna win the World Cup now ... aren't we ? Oh no , I forgot .. SAfrica is bleedin' hot, so that's the end of that then.
Toast to England, for once!

I'm pissed off that I pay SKY for sport and can't even watch Ingerland playing football.
What a bloody con.
Soon there will be another one like Setanta and you will have to pay for that as well.
Well sod them.

SAND+ : "I'm pissed off that I pay SKY for sport and can't even watch Ingerland playing football.
You don't akchally PAY for it , do you ! ? What are you some sort of lager-swilling mug determined to line thee pockets of that walking, shrivelled gonad: Rupture Murdoch?
Watch the highlights the next day ( when you have to) it will sufice, believe me.
========
Newcastle
Ooo blimey ... thug-managed, dillusional, directionless,"we're a big club, ye nah" Geordie embarassment is up for sale ! Who could've thunk that ? Everyone, is thee answer.
I like The Geordie boyos... but what twat (genius ?) earned a fee for lumbering them with Dennis Wise ? ? ? ! ! !
They won't go down ( I hope ... Hull , Wigan and/or Bolton have no right to be in the Prem, that's for sure) but they are in the shyte now for 3 seasons + I only hope that're not tinged wiv The Ugly Debt Leeds Stick of Pooh - because that would send them out for 10 years.
Wasn't Wise at Leeds for a while ....... ?
What everyone wants to know ( OK, just me ) is 1) What the hell will Owen do/earn/transfer to ? He's a total oddity 2) What is the purpose of Alan Shearer ? Outside of stating the bleedin' obvious on anything from corner flag technique to.....er.... how round a ball should be. What do you do with him ?
He's like someone from the Midlands ... Full of structured opinion on anything that you can get from Argos... and with all the breadth of vision of Stevie Wonder, in a helmet, on night duty at the drive-thru McDonalds.
------------
Stoopid sale of the season : Bobby Zamora ... what were West Ham thinking ?
