Having seen, live, Master Walcott . playing for the U21s, I knew he was good, even out of Wenger's school trousers... but he was really on form.

Surpringly, Rooney was totally excellent in a Deco-kinda way ... he should walk away from the striker's mantle... the boy's still a superb goal creator.

Everyone was on-song, near enough ... although Lampard should watch the playback... because Copello has obviously got him on the "also rans" list, imho.

It was also noteable what a dirty little sod Ashley Cole is , on the quiet ... not that we can do without that skill. He was faking and diving and kicking his way throughout the match ... I'm sure the boy's got Argetinian blood in him !
