May I just add that Billy is a far more skilled Artiste than Tracey Emin. His woodcuts demand a substantial degree of creative ability unlike an unmade bed..okay!  |

You may indeed add that ... Billy C had some verve and at least tried to push his boat out. He just had a a kayak with a leak, is all
Tracey Emin is, basically, pretty thick. She does a good ( well, not really, if you have any skills, whatsoever, of sniffing out bullshit)
job of doing an impression of the iconclast and edgy Artiste ... in fact most of it is empty tosh. Dumb-ass BBC producers love that sort of thing, though.... suits their own pre-formed opinons.

I apologise for being harsh (sort of)
I just find it hilarious that Tracie gets away with what is patently, transparently, art theories taken straight out of the Blue Peter Guide to Modern Art.
it's not the tents, the crappola assemblages and the tissue-thin philosophy behind the "work" - it's the fact that the pundits ( some of them ... many many Artists know the real truth) have taken this Grade C+ work as being more than it is.
BillyC is a talent, in comparison.
Don't get me started on Maggie Hambling, Tosspot Gormley and Potter Perry ... we'll be here all night ! :-)
